Biography as it appears in the BEAUTY and the BEAST playbill (spring 2018):
LAURIE IVERSON MURPHY (Hat Seller, Ensemble) is excited to work with ACTORS inc again, after being in the ensemble of Mary Poppins last spring, and rekindling her love of theatre. Before that show, it had been many years since Laurie was on stage in high school productions and dance recitals. Laurie is a pharmacist at Lowell General Hospital, and the proud mother of five children and grandmother of two sweet boys. Two of her children, Tessa and Peter, are also in the show, and last year convinced her to join them in the fun. Laurie wants to thank her family and friends for their support, and the cast and crew for a wonderful experience.
It is the mission of ACTORS inc to enrich, inspire and entertain the community, featuring local artists. We welcome and encourage all those who wish to participate.
